He believes that all people should find a way to perform volunteering activities to benefit their community. Those who volunteer are able to get out and be an influential part of their community and get to know the people around you. On top of this, volunteers meet all kinds of new people, get to be outside in the open air, and shake up their daily routine.

With there being a large variety of programs that are looking for people to join their cause, Dr. Donald Sonn thinks that there is something for everyone to donate their time to.  Adult literacy, Meals on Wheels, distribution centers, and community cleanups are all programs that are willing to take volunteers.
